About the clinic

We founded HANIMA Veterinary Clinic in 2025 in the premises of one of the first veterinary practices in Prague. Together with my wife, Dr. Anna Hanzel, we had a clear vision – to create a family-oriented clinic where genuine patient care, support for animal shelters, and the development of veterinary dentistry would always come first.

Our clinic grew quickly, not only in size but also in spirit. What started as a small waiting room and a single examination room has now expanded into two consultation rooms, an intervention room, a fully equipped operating theater, a laboratory, and a storage facility. Today, our team consists of four veterinary doctors, human doctor, behavioral consultant, three veterinary nurses, and a receptionist.

And even as we grow, our values remain unchanged – we are committed to maintaining a family atmosphere and a pet-friendly approach. Every pet owner who walks through our doors and entrusts us with their beloved companion becomes part of the HANIMA family.

Over the years, we’ve had the privilege of meeting countless incredible people and animals, each with their own unique story. We are incredibly grateful for this journey. The word "Anima" means soul – and that’s exactly what we want to embody. We are a clinic with a soul.
